Who to Start at Tight End in your Week 3 Fantasy Line-up

The Tight Ends continue to be the work horses of the team.   These guys are often as big as and offensive lineman gifted with the speed of a running back  and the hands of a Wide Receiver.  They are called on to open a hole, run down the slot and out jump and out muscle Linebackers and Safeties during the tight goal line scoring opportunities.  Often the production of the elite Tight End athletes is better than that of most teams wide receivers.  So this is not an area to sleep on during you line-up selection in both Fanduel and DraftKings.   If you are doing an draft in a league with friends or work colleagues I highly recommend you consider grabbing a Tier one TE when all of the Tier 1 WR’s are gone.

The Gronk is out and Olsen is in.  Greg has become a fan favorite of Cam’s he is probably his most reliable target.  Gronk drops to number 4 but his value will soar once Brady returns.   Surprise this week which shouldn’t be a surprise is Dennis Pitta out there in Baltimore.  Two years ago he was considered the absolute rising star of TE’s and due to  injury fell off the map.   Well it looks like he is back and off to a fast start.  Take notice of him as his ceiling is as high as they come. Delanie Walker had a bit of a down week even though he scored a touchdown not much production otherwise.  We expect him to bounce back same story with Rudolph in Minnesota.  Anticipate him to find his rhythm again this week.

Let our team here at Empty the Bench continue to provide you with tips and help with your line-ups.
