I didn't think he'd be a git on the Grizz, as he even said he didn't know this was a rebuilding team (how you don't know that about Memphis is beyond me). So here's hoping Philly talked about EVERYTHING and no problems arise. He doesn't need to be the man there, just do your thing, win some games, and then he can go out gracefully and we fans can enjoy some good basketball. As a Philly sports fan, I read a number of interviews with him over the summer and I was very impressed by his humility and polite attitude after a couple years worth of trash talking. I assumed this was because he was nervous that his PG skills were non-existent, but he shut my mouth right up. Come back soon. AI sells tickets. 4th biggest market for a basketball team (LA and NYC excluded), 25th best ticket sales as of the end of November. Anything Iverson can do would be a big help. We need fans interested in this team, not just waiting for Brand to leave and draft picks to pan out.
