Right... aware of Miles (and probably should have mentioned him in passing), but felt like this was somewhat of an apples vs. oranges thing. Thanks for reading Dave.

Actually, JJ isn't the only Swedish-born player in NBA history. Miles Simon, who had a great career at Arizona and a very small career with the Orlando Magic, was born in Stockholm.

I love this article. Honestly when I saw the speculation on the Swedish side during the draft I was worried that the hype was going to be shortlived, as a number of second round picks may struggle to make it into a teams rotation or beyond the first year, but after seeing Prince sit out with injuries and Jonas step up, I've seen his potential throughout the stat sheets and its a nice thing to see out of the first Swede in NBA history (not to mention when he went off for 22 points the other game) Great article, and I hope his numbers pick up over the next few months (and those fouls go down, he's already fouled out 3 times)

Thanks for the kind words, Johan... and proud you should be. All things considered he's been fantastic. I was gunning for "Good show" at the end there, but the translation could very well be off.

'God utställning' . Maybe you mean 'Bra inställning' (Good attitude)? :)
Either way, thanks for a nice post on Jonas. We're very proud of our lone Swedish NBA player. It makes picking a team this year very easy...
