As a Laker fan, I love Trevor Ariza and what he brings, but I am a LITTLE nervous that he played so well in a contract year- his first without any injury causing him to miss significant time. While he certainly is a very strong defender, he relies heavily on his athleticism to defend (like how he upgraded the Lakes' pick and roll D getting out to the perimeter to challenege Hedo and Lewis in the Finals.) It's a real possibility that he gets $7-8 million, sustains an injury, and is never quite the same... Nicely done, Andrew.
