For me, Portland should definitely hang on to Bayless. He provides a nice balance with Fernandez behind Roy and Blake, and their backcourt operates quite efficiently. However, I think that their success this coming season will depend on Oden (and their frontcourt in general). They have had an inconsistent frontline for a couple of years now (Aldridge cant do it all on his own); if Oden finally gets a break from his injury demons and gets the chance to get some NBA game time, the Blazers will be very dangerous. It's been two years now, they are well overdue for an outstanding season which they looked destined for two seasons ago.
