THEREALESTVOICE - your right, Orlando didn't lose the game because of the no-call on Bryant's elbow in OT. They lost it with all the missed free throws. And also, the Lakers had no free throws in the 4th and OT compared to 19 for Orlando? (of whih they missed 8) Way to blow Game 4 Orlando, you really threw that one away.

Phil has been in his special high chair for a while now, a result of his hip replacement surgery a year or so ago (I think). I remember seeing a video on the net of Odom sitting down in it accidentally during a timeout, then again, he's been known to let his concentration slip at times - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQtRXQpZHHg

It feels as though Game 2-4 could have gone either way in this series, it seems to have come down to a bit of luck. But you know what they say, luck follows the brave.

This series is over. Period. To be up by that much and somehow lose the game is just ridiculous. The Lakers were getting their own rebounds, hustling on defense, they just did everything right after coming back from 12 points down. I literally got up, went to the fridge, got a beer, went to the bathroom, came back and the Lakers were within 2? They were just down by 12! The Magic dont deserve the trophy. They dont want it. They made rookie mistakes when the game was on the line.
Pietrus missing that layup.
Howard missing BOTH free throws at the wrong time.
Leaving Derek Fisher WIIIIDE open at crunch time TWICE.
Pietrus with that frustrated flagrant with no time left.
Hedo shooting ugly shots while trying to get fouled.

Its useless. Hedo tried to be Kobe. He got a couple of calls trying to pump fake and get the foul. But when it counted, the Lakers didnt foul, and he missed. Great game by the Lakers when it counted. They were down by alot and didnt even get frustrated. Its like they expected the Magic to choke (which has happened throughout the playoffs:see Boston series) Right now, all the Magic fans can do is wonder why this happens. Coaching? Lack of talent? Lack of hustle? They have all that. I can only guess and say that the Lakers want it more at this time. I am NOT a Lakers fan, I am a Boston fan for life but if my team isnt in it, I look at it as a basketball game. The better team is the Lakers. I dont want to see Kobe clutching that trophy, but, its inevitable. Expect the Magic to come out firing in game 5, but I dont think it will make a difference. They could be up by 30 at the half and somehow lose. Sorry for your loss Orlando. You can only get lucky for so long, it runs out sooner or later. I still say Lakers in 5, as I have always said. Heres a question, lets see if anyone knows the answer. What happens at the end of game 5? If the Lakers win, do the Magic have a second bag of confetti in the rafters that are purple and gold? Its all about sportsmanship remember?

P.S. I know that was a bad no-call when Kobe elbowed Nelson before Fishers clutch three. Its Kobe. Its the playoffs. Sorry.
