Nicely written article. I think it is time Turkoglu came back to Europe if the Magics make it to the finals this year. He is 30 and i guess he has already made his achievments in the NBA. I'd die to see him playing for Fenerbahce, his favorite team in Turkey(with the hope for a better haircut)

It is very good article.I think, Hidayet is in the right place. He should prefer career instead of money. In Gundy's system, he is absolutely free and he have chance to do what ever he wants.

Toaster-

Thanks a lot, and you have quite the killer blog name there. I'm probably as big a Pietrus guy as anybody, but he remains a question mark for me. He's been good THIS playoff series, but was a no-show for much of the regular season when he wasn't injured.

Self plug: I continued this piece at my own site (http://www.2ndroundreach.com) today. Basically, I think that if Pietrus remains a valuable contributor, Jameer plays a relatively healthy season, and Courtney Lee comes along and matures, Orlando can remain a legit power, especially in the East. Those are significant "ifs" though...

Thom, as always, sir...

Nicely done, as always. My only concern is the neck beard and bad facial hair choices, but I actually think this signing would go over really well with Blazer Nation...even though he did hit a buzzer-beating-banked three to give the Blazers one of their first home losses of the year. ANYWAY, I'll take him, neck beard and all.

Well written article.

Turk would be just what the doc ordered in Portland. Like you stated, Turk would be a nice veteran influence, but also he would allow Batum to come along slowly.

I think in terms of Orlando, they might not miss a beat on this loss. Pietrus has all the tools to be just as productive.
