Great idea, let's name NBA players after an ethnic cleansing. I'm looking forward to the emergence of the "Waterboarding" Bench Mob.

Whoa, ya gotta watch my Blazers more. While I do like Sergio, he's been terrible, and now Nate is finally giving the backup PG duties to rookie Bayless, who has a ton of talent but isn't really ready to pile up minutes yet.

Sergio's shot has been terrible, he's been running the offense to shot-clock violations when he's in there, and his defense isn't real strong, either. He's good for a few highlight reel passes from time to time, but ultimately belongs on the Blazer bench when the team is healthy and not in foul trouble.

Rudy, on the other hand, is picking it back up after a sluggish stretch following that Ariza foul. He's going to the rim and he's taking mid-range jumpers, rather than just slinging up fall-away threes. He's coming along really nicely and we need him.

Anyway, appreciate the Blazer love here, but your questions about why Sergio doesn't play more suggest that you should try to catch a few more games, or follow Jason Quick at the Oregonian. OregonLive.com. Hope I'm not being too negative. I mean, everyone should watch the Blazers a bit more. :) Most of us were hoping that Sergio would be moved at trade deadline in a package involving Raef's expiring contract, but it didn't happen. Hopefully he'll come around, but right now, Nate has correctly placed him further down the bench.

Agreed, the Spanish Armada could be improved on... even so, they do share an official blog at "Dobles Figuras- El Blog de la Spanish Armada por Rudy and Sergio."

As to Rudy, his nickname may be shaping up to be "El Machetero (literally “the Machete Wielder," but more generally, a Trail Blazer) at the poll running over here:
