hes better than odom, more motivated and hasnt been broken by nellie like brandan wright has.
That said, as a warriors fan, I cant wait till Nellie leaves, cause then we could see a strarting 5 of Monta and the three lanky lefties Randolph Wright and Biedrins. With the direction the lague is heading, its nice to have the atletic crafty guys on the floor. they all rebound and defend well. And Randolph is smooth as silk. I could seem and Ellis formin an Unstoppable pick and roll. itd be like a faster KG and better tony parker. A gaurd that scores in the paint and a big that can stop n pop.
I must admit tho, id thot he be a bust, I saw him in a strip club over the summer (i worked there) and he looked complacent. Boy was I wrong.

"Seriously. Dude looks like a tall, lanky Monta."

I have not caught that til this point, but there is so much truth behind that statement!

I also agree with you and your praise for Randolph. I think he would definitely benefit with some more consistent minutes (get rid of Nelson!). If this kid puts on some muscle, it's scary to think what he could do in the near future.

I'm not sure all-star, because that all depends on "getting it". To me he seems like the center version of Gerald Green but with higher IQ. I think he has a special gift. He just has to be wise to use it.

That being said I agree with one thing for sure; He looks EXACTLY like Monta!

Mr. Thell,

I completely agree with you on this. I saw some of his pre-draft workout footage and was thoroughly impressed. Then I saw him in pre-season and have seen some flashes in this guy during the regular season and I'm REALLY impressed. This guy has a lot of game and has tapped maybe 0.5% of his potential. Great post.
