My vote says this move makes Houston the best team in the West for the 55 games that Yao plays next season before his inevitable season ending injury. Then they probably end up losing in the first round again. But still, that'll be really exciting for Houston until then. A front line of T-Mac, Artest, Yao, Battier, and Alston? With Head and Scola your first guys of the bench? Um, wow. Good work to the Rockets for bringing on a top tier player without actually giving up a major piece in return.

My only concern here is offensive chemistry. Three free shooters (T-Mac, Artest and Alston) along side one of the best offensive post players in the league? How's that going to work again?
