I’ve been watching the Lakers since I saw Elgin Baylor play for the Minneapolis Lakers at the old Saint Paul Auditorium, when they played the occasional game there instead of Minneapolis. That’s when I could wait outside the locker room and get autographs from Elgin and Hot Rod Hundley and visitors like Clyde “Jelly Belly” Lovellette. And this is the WORST CHOKE JOB by any Lakers team I have seen in 50 years. Forget about the vaunted Celtics defense – this was a pure and simple CHOKE on an epic scale.
