I've been watching the Lakers since I saw Elgin Baylor play for the Minneapolis Lakers at the old Saint Paul Auditorium, when they played the occasional game there instead of Minneapolis. That's when I could wait outside the locker room and get autographs from Elgin and Hot Rod Hundley and visitors like Clyde "Jelly Belly" Lovellette. And this is the WORST CHOKE JOB by any Lakers team I have seen in 50 years. Forget about the vaunted Celtics defense - this was a pure and simple CHOKE on an epic scale.

"I would write more but the sordid details of the Lakers 97-91 loss to the Celtics after leading by 24 in the first half and 20 with 7:07 remaining in the 3rd quarter are simply too painful and maddening to recount."

Sure about that? I think I could take a stab at it!
