Still, though, god, Flip can be SO frustrating; he's a classic playoff choker (see minnesota), his split-second decisions are usually crappy, and his nervous ticks make me... nervous. i mean... leaving subs in for a second or two too long in playoff games is game-changing and frustrating. deciding to keep ice-cold players on the court is frustrating. he's just ... frustrating. but we'll see. My biggest thing for whenever a coach is called for to be fired is that you've got to have someone to replace him with. So if we're looking for a guy who can get us over the hump for another ring, improve our offensive aggressiveness, a motivator, and a guy who can develop young talent...well, I don't see anyone available who has that kind of proven resume. Most will agree that Flip improved in most of those regards this year. I guess the most we can hope for is that he continues that improvement. I definitely agree with all of your criticisms of Flip.
