The big controversy about the non-call on Barry at the end of the game is ridiculously myopic. How could Kobe take ZERO free throws for an entire game when he had 29 shot attempts. Or ONE free throw the prior game in San Antonio on 23 shot attempts. Has Kobe EVER gone 52 shot attempts with only ONE free throw attempt in his career? Barry needed to shoot the ball to win the game -not try to draw a foul with 2.1 seconds to go. The league should be apologizing for the ridiculous home court foul shooting discrepancy for "Droopy Dog" Duncan and his cast of whiners - not for a non-call on a foolish attempt to draw a foul with 2.1 seconds to go.

From what I understand, even Fisher's "airball" scraped off the bottom of the rim - although I only got one replay look at it. What really kills me is that the NBA bandwagon think the Spurs got "robbed" when in fact the Lakers have been robbed all series long in the fould department. How many non-shooting fouls can you call on the Spurs in order to make it appear you're not being unfair with the whistle???

that was a crazy game to watch! the lakers really blew it in the last minute -- and with play that bad, they're lucky not to have lost the game (pau! you choker!)... but still, they outplayed the spurs for the entire game, and i'm happy they pulled it out. now we'll find out how many more postcards there will be... ?
