I would also like to throw Andres Nocioni in there. That´s as much grittiness and team sacrifice as anyone can ask for. Of course, his presence on this list might have been left out due to his terrible performances in the last few months.

Good look on Lou Williams.. hes my favorite player on the sixers.. plays 100% at all times, I think hes going to be a top player at some point, sooner than later

I love the reader picks on the Cavs. Daniel Gibson? Glue means a guy who can shoot but turns it over on every drive and can’t keep a stationary object in front of me.

Conversely is Varejao. Solid D, but stunningly bad decision making with the ball. Notice that Battier is #1 because, while he plays great D, he contributes on both ends.

If the Cavs had a glue guy, they might actually be good.

The post is very informative. One thought to share, I think Boston’s big three is not really pierce, allen and garnett, its pierce, garnett,and the player who plays great. Sometimes its allen and sometimes it rondo… About biedrins, i really like him in the sense that hey he does not even look for his shots and yet he’s making some… doesn’t he?

“What does the team need tonight”. Excellent, excellent observation. That is 100% on the nose. He’s probably the most underrated player in the game and one of the best talents. Does anyone remember the block on Reggie Miller’s breakaway lay-up that probably cost Indiana the series? What about his lockdown D on Kobe Bryant? Did anyone even see that coming. He’s the kind of guy who can go to any team and make it better. He doesn’t dominate the ball and he plays a great all around game.
