Mike Dunleavy Jr. by far. I cannot believe he was not even listed in top 7. I mean he has been in the league 6 years and this year he is the prime scoring/assist option for the pacers because they in all honesty dont have a PG. I mean imagine not having someone that can dribble the ball up court and deliver it. He is the only one in the starting line up who can pass I swear to god. Diener? Murray? Granger? Murphy? Foster? Where are the assists coming from if he is not in there?

It's harder to actually improve if you're already good,Rondo had the advantage because even a really bad overall performance would mean him actually improving, and he has the Big3 in the team,so that means the oponent has no luxury of actually playing good D on Rondo, let alone double teaming. And let's face it, 5 assists in a team with Ray,Garnett and Pierce is pretty bad.

Rondo is averaging 10 points,4 rebounds and 5 assists which is a medicore performance,I don't think players should be awarded for sucking the previous year.

As for Hedo,I honestly have no idea how he stepped his game up so late in his career, but I gotta hand it to him, even though nobody actually sais it out loud,he is more important that D.Howard is to the team for the time being and he had reasonable numbers last year,so to improve on that with 2 team mates like Lewis and Howard is pretty impressive. I wouldn't consider anyone on this award with Hedo as a candidate,he is just too good this year, not only with the stats.

Rondo improved his game but not alone. There are three better options the opposite team should considered. It was just easy. But Hedo is now in a different level. He is leading his team. You should consider his clutch shots, assists, and deadly 3p s.
Hedo is one step ahead i think

Nice post... I agree with the list for the most part.

One (admittedly weird) name I might throw in would be the Lakers' Lamar Odom. Yeah, he's been the #2 guy in LA for the last couple of years, but he has really flourished this season, and his numbers since the Gasol trade have been genuinely sick. He's actually led the league in FG% since the all-star break, not to mention his leadership of the Lakers' second unit, which has been the deciding factor in a number of games.
