LaMarcus is having a decent season to be sure, but I expected a lot more and I don't think I'm alone. Aldridge was being taken in the 4th round of a lot of drafts and he hasn't played up to those lofty draft-day expectations. If you check out the split stats he actually played better after the All Star break as a rookie than he has so far this season. I was looking for a big improvement from the youngster this season, but so far it's only been a modest improvement and mostly, as Brian pointed out, in points category.

The 17 points and 7 rebounds are fine; the somewhat disappointing part of Aldridge's fantasy season thus far are the lack of steals, blocks, and maybe even assists. As you know, points and rebounds are relatively easy to come by in fantasy hoops, but the other categories are just as important.

how is LaMarcus a fantasy dissapointment??? Going into the season I woulda been happy with a clean DMV printout from this guy, let alone 17 and 7. How about Tracy McGrady or anyone on the Knicks?? Shaq? Gerald Wallace? Ben Wallace? Hell Im even pretty sure someone drafted Stevie Franchise in one of my leagues...

Jamaal Tinsley may not cut you with a knife, but he will chase you from a strip club to downtown Indianapolis firing assault rifles from his Bentley. That he will do.
