Thanks for the advice on my 3rd WR slot but now I have a RB question in my other league (it's a salary cap league) and I am looking for a cheap RB sleeper with my pocket change. What do yall think about B. Lenord @ Dal and E. Graham @ CAR? What I'm basically asking is witch one is more likely to score since nither one is going to get me very many points yardage wise. Or do yall have another sugestion in my position? Maybe C. Buckhalter or K. Watson (CIN will probley have to pass all day though.) Help me out I am grasping at straws!

That's a tough one, Chris. As you'll notice in both our Week 4 Position Rankings and our Week 4 Cheat Sheet, we have Marshall ranked exactly one spot higher than Holmes. That means we think it's obviously very close--it's a toss up--but our gut feeling says Marshall.

That's a nice roster of WRs you have there. Good luck this week.

Should I start B. Marshall @ Indy with Walker having problems with his knee or S. Holmes @ Ari with H. Ward not in the line up? Or do I go with R. Curry @ Mia? I feel like this one is a toss up but I am leaning more toward Marshall. I start 3 WR's and two of my definate starters are T.O. and C. Johnson.

Hello Mr. Mackey-

You've also got a tough dilemma there. Brian outlined the major points for Brandon Marshall very well, so you know what he has going for him. Brian and I are also believers in Marshall and Cutler's skills. Cutler is young and still learning the pro game, but he has one of the better pure arms in football and is playing in an offensive system that can really free up the passing game. Cutler is also brimming with confidence and tends to go for the big play more often than checking down to a TE or RB, so that bodes well for Marshall with Walker hurting.

Chris Chambers had a forgettable 2006, but keep in mind this guy caught 29 TDs in the preceding three years. He's a playmaker. He's also developed a nice rapport with Trent Green, who's an accurate passer but lacks an explosive arm and big-play ability. Green also tends to lock into a receiver, like he did with Tony Gonzales in Kansas City, and the Dolphins don't have many other options in the passing game so there's no reason to think Chambers will be lacking for opportunities.

Given his track record of fantasy success (despite a penchant for dropped passes in real life) and his sheer volume of looks (1st in the NFL in Week 3, 3rd most on the season) I would side with Chambers.

*Sorry one last thing. The data I know the least about is the QB situation. I know very little about Jay Cutler and Trent Green. Also their offensive lines. I'm not sure the stats are showing a significant difference between the two, but maybe you have actually watched Green/Cutler on tv, and could give me some insight into their chances vs their opponents. Thanks!

I have a similar question. Marshall in the RCA dome? Or Chris Chambers at Miami? I know oakland has a pro bowl cornerback, and since Chambers is Miami's #1 guy, that sounds like the pro bowl CB will be on him the whole game. On the other hand Chambers gets an insane number of looks. But Marshall has 6 inches of height on any Colts CB. At this point I have Chambers going, but if you can, by all means try to convince me to use my backup Marshall.

Hey Kurt,

Good question, and you make two good points in weighing the positives and negatives of starting either. There's a good chance KC will be throwing for much of the second half because we can't see Larry Johnson finding much room to run, and the Bolts should put some early points on the board. So, Bowe has that going for him as the team's WR1 at the moment.

On the other hand, Javon Walker is hobbled and Denver will need to throw as well against the Colts. We don't think the smallish Indy corners can hold Marshall out of the endzone if he's the #1 guy and they get inside the 20. Plus, you're going to get more consistency from the more polished Marshall, and Cutler can deliver the ball better than Huard.

If we had to pick, Marshall would be the guy. But you know how these things go...

Thanks for reading.

Speaking of Marshall and his increased value...

I've got to decide between Marshall going up against an impressive Colts pass D, and Dwayne Bowe matching up with what appears to be a mediocre SD secondary. Any advice on which way to lean here?
