Eddie Jones at $15 mil has to be in there.

And Troy Murphy deserves mention. Only a little over $8 mil this year, but with $42 over the next four years still to come, the guy is an albatross.

Dalembert’s deal also cannot be overlooked. Disgusting.

Hmmmmm…. I am a Raptors Fan, please state Vince Carter as a “dishonorable mention” also (due to his underachieving and uncaring play for NJ) and take off Nesterovic from that list. You probably are basing this on stats for sure, but Rasho Nestorovic is doing a lot of unherald grunt-work against Shaq and Eddy Curry and others, and being a surprising locker room comedian for the Raps and a teacher for the other Europlayers on the team. The first time Raps have gotten a REAL Center who can play D and not get injured (yet…)

The thinking behind Marbury perhaps making his money and Garnett being overpaid isn’t all about their play. Garnett is a better basketball player than Marbury, no doubt. But Garnett is the highest paid player in the NBA and he can’t even get his team into the playoffs or sellout the arena while the owner hemorrhages money. Marbury is selling tickets, they might make the playoffs and the Knicks are seeing some kind of return on their investment in him.

as a cavs fan we have two of the most overpaid players in the league one is a bum the other acts like one from time to time i guess thats the cavs great management if you look at larry stughes youll see that this guy was hurt majority of his career and zydrunas illflopskus foot has probably been nailed to the court because he cant get up and down yet we decide to pick up this baggage 5 year 10.50 for stughes and 11 mil 5 years for illflopskus what a playoff contender we are praise the lord for lebron james

Yeah I gotta admit, I am a little surprised at seeing KG at the top of the list. I understand the point of view, but don’t knock the man because Glen and Kevin got him, and then forgot they needed to build the rest of the team too.

Yeah. In 2005, the Knicks did take advantage of the one-time-only amnesty clause under the Collective Bargaining Agreement by waiving Jerome Williams. He subsequently retired. However, they are still responsible for the remaining years of Williams’ contract. They just saved $21.3 million in luxury tax by making that move.
