The Pacers Know How to Make It Rain
March 22, 2007

Sheesh… even when the Minnesota Timberwolves actually win a game, there might need to be an asterik next to the result. It seems that the day before KG & Company beat the Pacers 86-81 last Tuesday, some Pacers players were up late at Schieks Nightclub doing their best Pacman imitation. Yes, friends, storm clouds moved in, and ETB has yet another opportunity for a weather report:
“Monday evening several of the players from the Indiana Pacers basketball team spent a great deal of time and money at Schieks Nightclub and judging from their performance last night in the fourth quarter they might have been better served getting some rest at their hotel,” wrote Murphy via e-mail. Murphy also claimed to have seen the players “make it rain,” which means they were throwing money at the strippers.
HOT. Now, we all know by now that Pacman is the only true Rainman, but there’s something about guys on the beleagured Pacers making it rain that just sounds… right. Ana Lucia is killed off on Lost, Dub Trio opens for the mighty Clutch, and the Pacers make it rain. Events such as these all seem to help make the world a better place, don’t they?
